The Cellulosic man-made fibers offer a renewable and biodegradable alternative to purely synthetic textiles. Lyocell and modern viscose processes use closed-loop systems that recycle solvents, significantly reducing environmental impact.

Sustainably sourced cellulose, including FSC-certified wood pulp and bamboo, ensures responsible raw material use. The fibers’ biodegradability reduces waste in landfills compared to polyester or nylon. Consumers increasingly prefer eco-friendly textiles, encouraging brands to adopt cellulosic fibers as part of sustainable fashion initiatives.

Future trends in sustainability include using agricultural residues, recycled fibers, regenerated cellulose fiber, viscose rayon, lyocell fabric, semi-synthetic textile, sustainable man-made fiber and greener solvents to produce cellulosic man-made fibers with a lower carbon footprint.
